ongoing tuition

Book sessions with our fully-qualified, experienced teachers at one of our centres in south-west London. We believe that responding to the individual needs of each child is pivotal to their academic success.

Primary School Tuition

We offer weekly tuition in Maths and English to support an area of weakness, encourage a particular aptitude and/or prepare for entrance exams. Lessons are one-to-one, with the popular option of a small group for children in Years 4, 5 and 6.

Senior School Tuition

We offer individual lessons to senior school students from Year 7 to A-level in many subjects, either on a short-term basis or ongoing.

Special Educational Needs Tuition

If your child has a specific requirement for help with slow processing, dyslexia or dyspraxia we can provide weekly afterschool lessons with one of our specialist teachers. For intensive intervention during the school day, find out more about our specialist centre at Laidlaw Hall.

Reasoning

Reasoning lessons are not just for exam takers. Many children join the Reasoning group lessons to help sharpen broader skills – reading accurately, extending vocabulary and working with speed and accuracy. The course covers both Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, running for three terms. Children can start from January in Year 5.

Handwriting

Individual 30-minute lessons with our handwriting expert can be booked on Monday and Wednesday afternoons in term time. These lessons are particularly beneficial for left-handers, children with poor fine motor skills or those who are dyspraxic.

Other Courses

Depending on demand, we run term time courses on creative writing, problem-solving (to help KS2 children struggling with Maths), and a ‘Times Tables Club’ for Years 3 and 4.

“We are grateful for your help in getting the best out of our son. You did not just try to sell us as many of your services as possible but were very mindful of him as a person and not an object to be tutored into oblivion like many seem to do!”
